Founders Koerner and Joan Rombauer began the Rombauer Vineyards in Napa Valley back in1972. Today, third generation family members assist in winery ownership and management and continue for traditions rich in passion for the relationship between food and wine. The appreciation stemmed from Koerner’s great aunt Irma Rombauer having authored the internationally renowned cookbook, the Joy of Cooking. Napa Valley Cabernet comes from estate vineyard across St. Helena, Calistoga, Oakville, Stags Leap District, Atlas Peak, and Carneros, making this a well-rounded and expressive of the many terroirs of Napa Valley. This wine is full-bodied and packed with flavor, all while offering silky and smooth tannin in the finish – perfect addition to a meal. Rombauer family’s favorite pairings include Braised Short Ribs or Lasagna Bolognese.
