Alois Lageder, Porer, Pinot Grigio - 2019
ALOIS LAGEDER PINOT GRIGIO ‘PORER’ 2019
Alois Lageder family winery has roots dating back to 1823, when the young craftsman Johann Lageder set himself up as a wine merchant in Bolzano. Over time he acquired a number of vineyards to which the future winery was born. Today, the family owns 50 hectares in Alto Adige, across many micro-climates, and all farmed biodynamically. This wine is all about the joy of experimenting and bringing different components together. The crop is split to receive various fermentation styles and then blended together to create a fresh, lively and precise Pinot Grigio – modern and hand crafted. Fruit style is forward with melon and peach – pairing very well with starters, patés, charcuterie, and seafood.
