Garden Crevice Tool, Fisher Blacksmithing
This simple garden tool is amazing for weeding and edging around rock paths, rock gardens, brick landscape borders, and containers. It's lightweight, tough & good looking. Made from reused concrete reinforcement rod and set into Its own hand turned Black Walnut Handles. It's great for loosening soil around plants and weeds, allowing them to be pulled up by hand. Of course, everyone has their own weeding style. Dimensions are approx. 13″ long.
Each tool is individually crafted using traditional blacksmithing techniques. Steel is heated to a red glow in the forge and then shaped over the anvil with a hammer. All joinery is done using solid steel rivets. And, each tool is set into its own hand turned handle creating a long-lasting garden tool with no welds. American Black Walnut is used for handles. The tight grain of this strong hardwood makes it very durable. Best of all, it just feels good in your hand.
